Chamonix in Summer

Come to Chamonix in summer and enjoy the exceptional environment for hiking in the Mont Blanc massif or the Aiguilles Rouges. It is also possible to go on glacier hikes, treks lasting several days and climb the surrounding peaks. With the ski lifts, you can also reach remarkable sites in a few minutes, where you can admire exceptional panoramic views. In the Mont Blanc valley, there are many activities available, including mountain biking, golf and paragliding.

The main activity in Chamonix is still skiing, with various ski areas within easy reach (Domaine du Brévent, Les Grands Montets, La Flégère, Les Houches resort, etc.). It is possible to try out all forms of skiing. You can set off to conquer the summits on cross-country skis. It is also possible to go cross-country skiing. For the more experienced, it is possible to venture off-piste. Thanks to the Aiguille du Midi cable car, you can descend the legendary Vallée Blanche route.
